Constructed from 100% Lambswool, The Weavers Jacket takes inspiration from heritage workwear and the craftspeople who have always made Johnstons of Elgin’s weaving mill tick. Based on patterns from their cloth archive circa late 1800’s.
A traditional workwear inspired piece with a simple unlined construction. Features a pocket for scissors and a little slot for essential weaving tools – a heddle hook and a dropper.
Garment Features
The main outer pockets have double entry, side entry and top entry leading into separate compartments, lined with hardwearing cotton cloth and reinforced with substantial bar tacks. The breast pocket is split for convenience while two internal pockets can house more personal belongings. The Weavers Jacket has dropped shoulders for a soft, relaxed fit, and a silhouette that finishes at the hip.
